About the position

As a healthcare administrator within the VO Healthcare Administration Karolinska, you will work for the Medical Unit Head Neck Lung Skin. You will ensure that the work in the reception runs smoothly, that patients receive the support and service they need, such as getting to the right waiting room. Furthermore, you will handle mail, order medical travel, and manage fault reports to property services Coor and Locum. You will also be responsible for the environment in waiting rooms and examination rooms and ensure that brochures and other materials are available.

There is also the possibility to work with booking and calling patients.

We are looking for someone who

  • has the ability to kindly help and support people
  • is self-driven and sees what needs to be done
  • takes initiative for improvements in the reception and possesses good judgment.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Education in health and medical care administration or equivalent work experience.
  • Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form.
  • Good knowledge of Office365 and web-based administrative tools.

Meritorious:

  • Familiarity with premises and/or operations within Karolinska.
  • Experience in health and medical care.
  • Multilingual (in addition to Swedish and English).
  • Experience with relevant systems for the position, such as TakeCare, RIS/PACS, medical travel system, quality registers, 1177, TeleQ, Always Open.
