The Medical Products Agency's Digitalization Unit is now looking for a frontend developer in C#/.NET for a newly established group within software development. In this role, you will have a central position in our ongoing business development with a focus on the digitalization of the Medical Products Agency's mission in medical technology, a rapidly growing area that is of great importance for quality, safety, and efficiency in healthcare. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence working methods, solutions, and collaboration from start to delivery in close dialogue with both business and IT.

Our Operations

The Digitalization Unit consists of approximately 90 engaged employees who together take a holistic approach to the authority's digitalization. We work closely with the business to deliver accessible, stable, and secure digital solutions that are useful, and we continuously develop our working methods, technology, and tools.

Your Responsibilities

You will work with the development and management of the Medical Products Agency's digital solutions in medical technology. As a software developer, you will be part of an agile team and work together with other team members towards sprint goals and deliveries. The team transforms business needs into functioning, quality-assured, and accessible solutions. The work encompasses the entire development chain, from needs analysis and design to development, testing, deployment, and management. You are also responsible for ensuring that the digital solutions developed are maintainable, secure, and sustainable in the long term.

As a frontend developer with us, you will be responsible for the user interface, user experience, and accessibility in our digital solutions. You will transform complex requirements into intuitive interfaces and work closely with our backend developers to consume our internal APIs.

Your Background

We are looking for a frontend developer who has:

• Several years of experience with frontend frameworks, e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js
• Several years of experience with HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Several years of experience with version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab)
• Very good understanding of accessibility and user-centered development
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing

It is a merit if you have experience with:

• UX work and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Agile development
• Automated test development such as Cypress or Playwright. DevOps-related frontend work
• System and service design

Your Personal Qualities

You genuinely enjoy development, are attentive, have good analytical skills, and work in a structured and quality-conscious manner. Furthermore, you are creative and care about creating digital solutions based on user experience and accessibility.
