System Leader for GE Mitt Staff
The Swedish Armed Forces Telecommunications and Information Systems Command (FMTIS), Implementation Unit Mitt, is looking for a System Leader for GE Mitt Staff, located in Enköping.
About the Organization
The Implementation Unit Mitt is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of the Armed Forces' command systems within the geographical area of Military Region Mitt. We have implementation departments in Enköping, Kungsängen, Falun, Arboga, Haninge, and Visby. The unit staff analyzes, coordinates, leads, and follows up tasks to the unit's implementation departments within the main areas of Ground Telephony, IT, and Technical Surveillance. The unit staff also acts as a support function for the unit commander in the decision-making process.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
As a System Leader, you are responsible for project management of the unit's various technical projects within the command systems area. This means that you drive the projects from start to finish, but it can also mean that you get involved in the middle of projects. The projects vary in nature and at different levels within the organization, including:
- Conducting staff work within the command systems functional area in the unit's staff.
- Representing the unit in various meetings at the unit level as well as with external suppliers, and also with the department heads and staff.
- Ensuring that operations are conducted according to applicable regulations, with quality and high system security.
- Conducting follow-ups on operational disturbances and deviations, analyzing them to identify and address deviations that may affect system security.
REQUIREMENTS
- Post-secondary education with a focus on technical services or equivalent competence as assessed by the employer.
- Experience in technical project management.
- Documented experience in areas such as networking, servers, storage, client management, IT security, signal protection.
- Good ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
- Driver's license *B*

MERIT
- Good knowledge of the Armed Forces' operations and organization.
- Good knowledge of the Armed Forces' IT systems and/or signal protection systems.
- Good knowledge of how operations and maintenance are conducted on the Armed Forces' IT systems.
- Basic experience in project management or work leadership.
- Completed military service/GSU.

Employment type: Civil position, permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period.
Employment: Full-time
Work location: Enköping. Travel is included in the position.
