HR Department
The management office of Region Uppsala is part of Region Uppsala, one of Uppsala County's largest employers. The management office is led by the regional director and consists of approximately one thousand employees. With a governing, supportive, and coordinating role, the management office is tasked with supporting the political leadership and administrations so that the political direction is reflected in the region's various activities. In this way, Region Uppsala can fulfill its role, both regionally and nationally.

Our Operations
The HR Systems Unit is part of the HR Department and consists of 11 employees. Here we work with operational management of Region Uppsala's HR systems. We are part of public operations with an openness and long-term perspective that means what we do, we must do well and with good sustainability.
Your Role Includes:
- Manage, develop, and ensure the quality of Region Uppsala's HR systems
- Actively work on optimization and efficiency of systems and workflows
- Develop working methods and routines
- Adapt the systems to applicable laws and agreements
- Work with IT and information security
- Handle errors, incidents, and continuity planning
- Manage inquiries, cases, and problems, initiate and participate in troubleshooting from users
The work involves collaborating with many different functions, both within Region Uppsala and with system suppliers. The systems are managed according to the pm3 model.
Your Qualifications
You should have:
- Good knowledge and understanding of HR processes
- Knowledge and familiarity with the IT functionality used in the HR area
- Relevant education or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways
It is advantageous if you have:
- Knowledge in IT and information security
- Experience working in larger organizations, preferably in public administration
- Experience in system management
- Experience with the HR system Heroma
Your Competence
You can independently take responsibility for planning, prioritizing, and structuring your tasks. Furthermore, you should be able to drive your work forward based on the agreed planning. You should have the ability to create an understanding of the organization's needs and requirements for system support. Dialogue, good collaboration, and good relationships with relevant operations are seen as prerequisites for finding the best way forward.
You enjoy sharing your knowledge and can do so in a pedagogical and solution-focused manner. You feel comfortable speaking in front of different target groups and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.

A permanent full-time position, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may apply. You will have the opportunity for some remote work 1–2 days a week after completing the introduction.
