SJR is looking for an Accounting Assistant with Controller Elements

SJR is now seeking an Accounting Assistant with controller elements for a long-term position on behalf of our client. Our client is located in pleasant offices in Kungälv and offers the opportunity for hybrid work two days a week. The position is full-time and starts as soon as possible. You will be offered a non-prestigious workplace with an open culture where everyone helps each other.

About the Position

As an Accounting Assistant, you will be part of a smaller finance team, and your main focus will be on invoicing. The client works a lot in project form, and you will be involved in project invoicing, managing invoicing documentation, and having extensive contact with the shared service center located in India to organize and coordinate the invoicing process. There will also be elements of controlling in the role, primarily analysis and project follow-up.

As our client is an international company, you need to be proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A significant part of the work is done in Excel, which requires understanding and knowledge of it. General good system knowledge is also an advantage.

Suitable Background

We are looking for someone who has worked for a few years in finance and has an understanding of the financial flow. You enjoy taking responsibility and thrive in a role where you can influence and are motivated by seeing results and owning your processes. We also believe you are a curious person who is responsible, meticulous, and analytical.
