What does the role of Experienced Economist mean with us?

You will help our clients in the role of Senior Accounting Economist, Financial Controller, Accounting Manager, Chief Financial Officer, or similar position. Common to our more qualified positions is that you often become a sounding board for our clients and support and assist them in the streamlining and development of existing financial processes and routines, coach and lead a workgroup, or play an important role in a business systems project. Our clients place great value on your expertise and the great experience you have built up over the years. Would you encounter a new challenge with a client? How exciting, then you get the chance to develop! But don't worry. We always support and help each other out on respective assignments, and there is always someone to ask internally, even if you are not sitting with the same client.

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting as agreed.

Your profile

Requirements:

• You have at least a few years of experience working as an economist or Financial Controller in a time- and project-intensive business
• You have previous experience working with any of the following: ongoing accounting, project accounting, year-end closing, analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Experience with the business systems Maconomy/Xledger/Rexor or Visma PX
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• University/higher education or equivalent experience/education

• Meritorious:
• Previous consulting experience
• Experience from the technical consulting industry
• Experience with IFS
• Experience with reporting/BI tools

Sundbom & Partners has been active for over 15 years, and we work almost exclusively with what we call time- and project-intensive businesses such as: consulting firms, agency operations in various industries such as IT, technology, auditing, management, PR-media, architects, and lawyers. Most of these clients use business systems with strong project accounting such as Maconomy, Xledger, IFS, ReXor, or Visma PX.
