The Labor Market and Adult Education has the overall responsibility for the city's municipal adult education and for the city's labor market policy measures. JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a development leader whose focus is primarily on social services!

As of January 1, the Labor Market and Adult Education entered a new organization and also received a new department, external relations. The department consists of two new units; development and skills supply, and is a key part of fulfilling the administration's mission. The development unit is responsible for being a resource and support for all departments within the administration regarding investigation, process support/process management, and project management. The unit is also responsible for the development of activities, which takes place in collaboration with other administrations around Gothenburg and with other external partners.

As a development leader, you, together with your colleagues, will strengthen the administration's own development capacity, where you will have a focus on, among other things, social services. You are responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and coordinating work with other municipal administrations and other external partners. You work independently but in close dialogue with several of the administration's departments and units, through a more process-oriented working method.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying should have a bachelor's degree of 180 credits (or equivalent) in, for example, behavioral sciences or public administration. You should have experience working in a politically governed organization and in the field of social services. In addition, you need to have experience in development work, investigative work, process management, and/or project management as well as good IT skills.

We consider it an advantage if you have experience with social services issues in relation to work and studies, at a strategic and tactical level.

We believe that you have the ability to see connections and can draw logical conclusions based on limited and/or complex information. It is important that you see opportunities for change and create situations where new ideas and proposals can develop and handle criticism of change in a constructive way.

It is important that you work well with others by listening, showing interest and respect, and thus see your work as part of a larger context and understand how it affects and is affected by other parts of the organization.
