Telephone Operator for Telephone Service in Mölndal

The Telephone Service unit is located in Mölndal, and we are now looking for two telephone operators, offering 1 permanent position and 1 temporary position for about 1 year!

Job Description

You will be part of a workgroup consisting of telephone operators and system administrators.

The Telephone Service operates in three locations and supports healthcare around the clock, every day of the year. As a telephone operator, you will work in multiple systems, relay calls, and guide the public with the right information.

Other common tasks include:

• Managing, alarming, and monitoring acute medical alarms
• Guiding to the right functions for both the public and the region's operations
• Administration and handling of disaster support, on-call changes, and on-call lists
• Monitoring technical alarms.

The work is scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends. Night work may occur if necessary.

To provide good service in the role of telephone operator, you need to:

• Have a high stress tolerance and maintain calm when handling calls in pressured and acute alarm situations
• Be able to work at a high pace while actively listening and searching for information simultaneously
• Have excellent collaboration skills but also be able to take responsibility and work independently.

You have a high school education and good knowledge of Microsoft365. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English and have the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way. Furthermore, you are accustomed to learning and working in various IT systems.

Experience with switchboard and referral system work, contact centers, or other telephone operator work is an advantage. Experience in meeting people in vulnerable situations is also meritorious.
