Are you attracted to working in a clinic for children and adolescents where we also provide clinical supervision for future dentists and dental hygienists? We offer you a varied and enjoyable job.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

The Children's Training Clinic is part of Folktandvården's university dental care, which means that the clinic actively participates in the education of dentists and dental hygienists, contributes to dental research, and is involved in developing dental care across the region. In addition to the educational mission, we provide regular general dental care for children and young people aged 0-19.

The Children's Training Clinic, with around 22 employees, is characterized by creativity, commitment, and continuous learning, offering a stimulating environment where knowledge and experience are utilized in the best possible way.

The clinical supervision/teaching of students is conducted in close collaboration with the Department of Odontology (University of Gothenburg), where theoretical education and dental research are primarily carried out.

Your main tasks will include reception and other administrative work, making you the clinic's face to the public and someone who enjoys providing high-quality service. You will be responsible for patient contacts at the reception, over the phone, and via 1177, as well as for appointment scheduling and notifications. Your tasks will also include several administrative assignments related to student activities.

Competence Requirements and Profile

• have a high school education
• have experience in reception work or equivalent
• master the Swedish language well and have an easy time expressing yourself in speech and writing
• master the English language
• have good communication skills
• have good knowledge of the Office suite

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• dental or healthcare background
• training in reception
• experience working with patients and relatives in a healthcare environment
• experience working in medical record systems

About the Recruitment Process

If you are not already employed with us, you will be contacted by a recruiter from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 5 and 6.

Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts checks in suspicion and criminal records before employment.
