Economist for Economic Services in Mariestad

We are looking for someone motivated by our overarching mission – to free up resources for healthcare and care through efficient and qualitative services.

As an economist, you will have the opportunity to develop both the organization and yourself.

Economic Services consists of several units within accounting as well as units for systems support, supplier, customer, and patient invoicing, and medical travel. We are now offering a permanent position and a temporary position for about 1 year within one of the accounting units in Mariestad.

Job Description

You will work to provide professional support to the organization together with your colleagues. With us, you will have the opportunity to work broadly within finance in a large organization while contributing to the development of our working methods and procedures.

Your tasks will include ongoing accounting, controls, and financial statements, primarily for the Region's hospitals and health centers. The position may also involve conducting internal audits and participating in internal training for the region's cashiers, which may require some travel. You will be part of a team of around 20 people. The team performs various accounting assignments depending on our clients' requests and may vary over time, including several different types of tasks within the finance area.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of economist with us, you need to have good analytical skills with an interest in problem-solving. You can plan, organize, and prioritize your work while being very flexible and helpful, and you enjoy constant changes.

We are looking for someone with a university degree in finance and preferably with work experience in financial work, or equivalent education and experience. We see that you have good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel, and can communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of Raindance and Power BI.

Recruitment Process
