Fridaskolan in Vänersborg opened its doors in the beautiful Hagaparken in Vänersborg in 1993.

About 500 children and young people spend their school days here, and there is a buzz of activities, lessons, and learning every day. Students and staff create, in close collaboration, the good social environment for learning and development that characterizes the school, where our vision is to educate lifelong learners, which among other things means that we actively work with lifelong learning.

Fridaskolan in Vänersborg is now looking for a special educator or special teacher for the secondary school. The position is permanent at 100% with a start as soon as possible.

As a special educator, you will be part of Fridaskolorna's competent student health team consisting of school nurses, special teachers, counselors, school psychologists, and school doctors. Fridaskolorna currently operates in Vänersborg, Trollhättan, Uddevalla, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, and Mölnlycke. As a special educator with us, you will have a strong focus on preventive and health-promoting efforts. Your task will be to think about opportunities for the students based on a salutogenic approach, and you will play an important role in supporting them in their development towards achieving the goals of education.

Competence Profile

We are looking for someone who is a licensed special educator or special teacher with experience working in middle school, secondary school, or high school.
