Qualifications

You are a certified upper secondary school teacher and qualified in Swedish as a second language and English. Experience in adult education is an advantage.

As a person, you are creative, innovative, well-structured, and have the ability to inspire others. You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and can easily adapt to different target groups and cultures. You have good computer skills and use digital tools in your teaching. You are proactive and positive about the development of our operations in close collaboration with your colleagues. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Conditions

Temporary employment, 50-100%. Start date according to agreement. We apply the collective agreement between Almega and the unions Sveriges lärare and Vision. At ABF Vux, all employees have vacation positions with 30 days of vacation rights. As a teacher, you have a flexible working hours agreement.

ABF Vux develops the skills of adults and builds bridges into working life. The goal is for our operations to lead to jobs or further studies for our participants. We conduct educational activities on behalf of municipalities and authorities within SFI, basic and upper secondary adult education, as well as higher vocational education.

ABF Vux is owned by the study association ABF Gothenburg and has been operating since 1997. Our main operations are conducted in Gothenburg, but we are also present in Helsingborg, Gotland, Värmland, Skåne, and Fyrbodal. We also conduct distance education in many places across the country.
