Job Responsibilities
As an HR Administrator at the Court of Appeal, you will play a central role in an important and exciting operation. Your tasks are varied and include ongoing personnel administration, onboarding of new staff, recruitment administration, record-keeping, preparation of personnel statistics, and some recruitment. In your role, you will provide support and assistance to the Court of Appeal's managers and other employees in HR matters.
As an HR Administrator, you are responsible for the Court of Appeal's HR system and for introducing and training the Court's employees in the system. You will work in the system and assist in its further development by providing feedback on improvement suggestions to staff at the Courts Administration.
The HR Administrator is part of the Court of Appeal's administrative office, which currently consists of six employees, who work with finance, record-keeping, lay judges, and the library.
Your work will be in close collaboration with the Court of Appeal's HR specialist and the employees in the administrative office. Together, you will work to develop and improve routines and processes within HR and other administrative routines.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who thrives in an administrative and supportive role. You have a university degree in HR or a degree from another post-secondary education in the HR field. Experience in personnel administrative work, preferably within public operations or other operations that we consider equivalent, is an advantage.
The role requires you to have a good ability to independently plan and structure your work. We are looking for someone who is easy to collaborate with and who has a problem-solving approach. Your communication skills are good, and you convey information clearly and simply, both verbally and in writing. Since you will be handling many different types of tasks, it is important that you learn new tasks easily and have the ability to analyze and solve problems. The work is varied, and you will be part of a small group where we help each other and are flexible, which requires you to be unpretentious, able to cover for your colleagues, and handle both smaller and larger tasks. Responsibility and service orientation, as well as an interest in development issues, are other important qualities. Furthermore, you have integrity and can act as an employer representative.
You have very good knowledge of the Office suite and the ability to seek available information and learn the IT systems used in the operation. Experience with personnel administrative systems is an advantage.

About the Workplace
The Court of Appeal for Western Sweden is the second largest of the country's six courts of appeal. The main task of the Court of Appeal is to review cases and matters that have been appealed from the district courts that are part of the Court's jurisdiction. The court has four adjudicating departments and one administrative department. Approximately 130 people work at the Court of Appeal. The Court has premises in central Gothenburg.
Every day, hundreds of cases and matters are decided in the courts around Sweden. Our organization consists of employees with different competencies, each of whom is significant in maintaining legal certainty and high quality at all levels.
