Lerum Municipality, with the central town of Lerum, has approximately 3,200 employees and is located about 20 minutes from Gothenburg. Lerum is a forward-thinking municipality that aims for more. Lerum Municipality consists of the Education Sector, the Community Building Sector, and the Support and Care Sector, as well as five operational areas. We are now looking for a development leader who will work across the administration with the implementation of the new Social Services Act. A significant focus will be on the development and change work that needs to be done within the Support and Care Sector, but an important and essential part of the assignment will also be the changes and development that need to be made throughout the administration based on the new Social Services Act and its intentions. The position is organizationally under the sector manager for Support and Care.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a development leader, you will be a key person in the administration's change work. You will work closely with our operations, and the assignment is cross-administrative where we will ensure that we continuously and actively adapt our work to the new legal requirements, while continuing to deliver high quality and service to our citizens. You will report to the sector manager for Support and Care.
A large part of the assignment involves working with operational development, both operationally and strategically. Your main tasks are:
- Analyze how the new Social Services Act affects the municipality's operations and what measures need to be implemented
- Lead and coordinate implementation projects, including planning, execution, and follow-up
- Drive change and development work
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and create governing documents, routines, and working methods
- Educate and support employees and leaders in the change process
- Monitor the external environment and propose improvements
- Participate in relevant networks
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a relevant university education deemed suitable by the employer.
It is a requirement that you have previously worked with independent quality and operational development, and that you have good knowledge of working in a public organization as well as good knowledge of the Social Services Act and its application.
Important qualities for succeeding in this role are your ability to organize, prioritize, and drive processes forward. You work independently, structured, and forward-looking to create value, both for the operations and for the administration as a whole. You are also a good analyst with the ability to see connections in complex issues and translate them into practical solutions. As a person, you find it easy to create and maintain trusting relationships and you actively collaborate with others to carry out assignments and achieve desired results. You have a professional and coaching approach and the ability to convey information clearly and simply, both verbally and in writing, in a respectful, attentive, and pedagogical manner. Your interest in development in collaboration with others is a success factor with a holistic view, knowledge, and results as guiding principles.
