About the CFO position

As CFO, you will play a key role and have overall responsibility for the company's financial governance and accounting. The role combines operational responsibility with business-related analysis and accounting. This means that you will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings as well as group reporting according to HGB. Your responsibilities include driving liquidity planning, cash flow forecasts, and follow-up.

You will be part of the management team and play an important role in supporting financial analyses and decision-making for sustainable and profitable development. Furthermore, you will develop management reports, budgets, forecasts, and analyses of results and key figures. The role also includes personnel responsibility for a team of five employees in finance, HR, purchasing, and marketing. You will report to the CEO and work closely with the group's headquarters in Germany.

Your main tasks:

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings as well as group reporting according to the German accounting standard HGB.
  • Ensure correct accounting, statutory reporting, and compliance with regulations.
  • Be responsible for tax matters in collaboration with internal and external advisors.
  • Drive liquidity planning, cash flow forecasts, and follow-up.
  • Develop management reporting, budgets, forecasts, and analyses of results and key figures.
  • Ensure order, quality, and compliance in financial processes.
  • Support the CEO and management team with financial analyses and decision-making for sustainable and profitable development.
     

About you

To succeed in the role of CFO at Busch Pfeiffer Vacuum, you have a
post-secondary education from either a vocational school or higher education. You have worked for several years with the entire finance flow where you have independently identified discrepancies and can propose solutions. You have a good ability to build robust financial processes and can provide information and value to the CEO, management team, and other employees. You speak both Swedish and English fluently in speech and writing. Furthermore, you have good experience working in ERP systems and working in Excel. Experience with Power BI is considered a merit.

As a person, you have a strong ability to both drive and develop financial processes as well as a genuine interest in getting into details. With an analytical approach, you identify discrepancies in time and turn them into constructive solutions. You work in a structured and methodical manner, while also being flexible and supporting colleagues in various parts of the financial flows. You are perceived as responsible and secure in your leadership, and you actively contribute to a positive work environment characterized by professionalism, collaboration, and business acumen.
 

Important for the position:

  • At least 5-10 years of experience working with the entire finance flow where you can independently identify discrepancies and propose solutions.
  • Experience in building robust financial processes that are secure.
  • Good knowledge of both accounts receivable and accounts payable and financial management.
  • Good experience leading monthly, quarterly, and annual closings as well as group reporting.
  • Very good knowledge of IFRS and local statutory accounting.
  • Good ability to lead others and advance financial processes.
  • Post-secondary education in finance, from vocational school or higher.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
