A Business Control assignment linked to several central group functions (e.g. Sourcing, Real Estate, CFO Office, Shared Service Finance, Legal/Staff, and NSS) will be transferred to a new organizational unit within the client's group.

Before the transfer, a current state inventory of today's work needs to be conducted, for example regarding closing, follow-up, as well as Business Plan and Forecast.

The goal is to standardize and simplify working methods and processes in connection with the takeover, so that the delivery can be carried out with fewer resources and more system support. The consultant's task will be to drive this work while taking over responsibility for certain parts of the delivery (while other parts are handled by existing resources).

The new processes will be documented and knowledge transferred to internal recipients when the assignment is completed.

Role and Responsibility

Business Controller responsible for inventorying the current state, proposing and driving standardization/simplification, documenting new processes, and conducting handover. The role requires experience communicating with senior management on Business Control-related issues.

Tasks

• Map what is currently being done and how the delivery looks

• Gather needs and expectations from managers within the group functions

• Develop proposals for standardization and simplification together with the responsible manager in the receiving organization

• Combine operational work in the role with change-driving responsibility

• Document processes and conduct knowledge transfer to recipients

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

• Expert in Business Controlling (senior level)

• Expert experience in project management

Desirable Requirements

• Intermediate knowledge of SAP

• Intermediate experience with SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud)

• Intermediate familiarity with Power BI as a BI tool

Additional Information

The client operates under the principle of “flexible workplace,” but with the expectation of physical presence at least 3 days a week (preferably more depending on the nature of the assignment). This is established in dialogue with the client.
