On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a Regulatory Reporting Specialist for a growing niche bank. Our client is a smaller company in the banking and finance sector, characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit, short decision-making paths, and strong commitment.

About the assignment

In the role of Regulatory Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for the bank's regulatory reporting and ensure that reporting to the Financial Supervisory Authority is done correctly, on time, and in accordance with applicable regulations. The role is broad and combines operational reporting work with a more developmental and advisory responsibility as the business grows.

You are also expected to drive the establishment of a modern, automated, and scalable reporting platform, as well as contribute with qualified analysis in capital planning and capital optimization as the bank grows.

You will work closely with functions such as finance, risk, compliance, and management, and serve as an important contact point in regulatory reporting matters.

Examples of responsibilities

  • Be responsible for regulatory reporting to the Financial Supervisory Authority (e.g., COREP, FINREP, liquidity and capital adequacy reporting)

  • Ensure that reporting is done correctly, completely, and on time according to applicable regulations

  • Interpret new and changed regulatory requirements and translate them into practical reporting processes

  • Further develop and streamline reporting routines and working methods

  • Act as a contact person for authorities in reporting-related matters

  • Participate in supervisory processes, reviews, and dialogues with external parties

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple functions

Qualifications

  • Experience from working in banking and/or finance

  • Documented experience in regulatory reporting

  • Good understanding of reporting to the Financial Supervisory Authority and relevant regulations

  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner

  • Analytical with a strong focus on quality

  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English
