Are you interested in an operational, broad role at an airport? Then the position of Airport Officer within Airside & Landside Operations at Malmö Airport might be for you!

What does the role entail?

As an Airport Officer within Airside & Landside Operations, you will primarily work with maintenance and field operations. In winter, this means you will be plowing, sweeping, and blowing snow. In summer, you will be mowing grass and clearing brush.

The role also means that you will be part of the airport's fire and rescue team as an airport firefighter, where there are about 2-3 readiness drills per month.

This position involves shift work, which means uncomfortable working hours during evenings, nights, and weekends, and you must be able to get to and from the airport during these times when public transport is not available.

Who are you?

We see that you have:

• High school diploma

• Driving license category B and C

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing

• Good experience with computers and similar digital tools

• Good ability to read and understand written instructions and information

• Good physical condition as you need to pass our firefighter tests

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience working at an airport

• Experience in rescue or security services

• Category D driving license

• Experience operating machinery

• Forklift license

• Hunting license

As a person, you are cooperative and a skilled communicator. You have a high level of safety awareness and understand the value of processes, routines, and structures.
