Job Description
In the role of Project Engineer in Risk and Fire, you will work on varied and often long-term projects where risk and fire protection issues are a central part of the whole. The assignment involves a broad scope of work within risk and fire, focusing on investigation, analysis, and coordination rather than traditional detailed design. The projects range from early stages to completed facilities and are often carried out in larger project organizations together with several technical disciplines.

As a Project Engineer in Risk and Fire, you will start working on the assignments that AFRY is actively investing in growing – larger and more complex projects with a clear focus on infrastructure. This may involve road and railway projects, tunnels, and project risks where you are responsible for maintaining the risk work and contributing with an overall holistic perspective. The role involves both independent work and extensive collaboration with clients, technical managers, and other support functions within the project organization.

The work is primarily conducted from offices in Malmö or Karlshamn. Collaboration often occurs digitally in larger project groups, where clear communication and good coordination skills are crucial.

You are proactive, have a holistic perspective, and can clearly stand by your analyses. The position is suitable for both recent graduates and individuals with some experience who want to develop within risk and larger infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

• Relevant university or engineering degree, for example in fire and risk, civil engineering with a focus on risk, chemical engineering with risk, or ecosystem technology with risk
• Basic knowledge of risk management
• Ability to work in English, both spoken and written

• Experience working in larger projects or infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of CFD calculations
• Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
• Driving license B
