About the role and your tasks

• Receive incoming alarms from users and relay them to the relevant healthcare providers and professional categories.
• Technical support, reception and handling of orders, error messages, and other administration for alarms.
• Handle public inquiries regarding safety alarms and other matters that come via alarms or phone and refer to the correct instance.
• The duty officer has the authority to summon healthcare personnel during inconvenient working hours if there is a staff shortage.
• Documentation.

The working hours are scheduled during the day and evening. We are currently looking for two people for permanent employment. We are also looking for six summer substitutes, two of whom will work night shifts.

You will work every other weekend. We offer everyone to work full-time, which means 38.25 hours per week. (For night shifts, the full-time measure is 34.33 hours per week.)

We are looking for you who

• Have education in social work, health and medical care, or other documented background that can be assessed as equivalent.
• Experience in similar tasks is an advantage.
• Have a high sense of service and great ability to collaborate. Have a good and professional approach with respect and understanding for individual needs.
• Have the analytical ability to quickly get a picture of an emerging situation.
• Can work calmly and focused to effectively and correctly handle incoming cases.
• Are accustomed to handling various data systems and have experience in technical support.

About the workplace

The care and support emergency service is a municipal operation that receives and processes incoming alarms around the clock. Furthermore, we install and maintain the welfare technology that municipal residents have been granted by case officers, such as safety alarms and surveillance cameras.

The goal of the care and support emergency service is to carry out assignments with high quality based on individual needs and wishes, as well as to provide the opportunity to remain in one's own home.

The workplace is located at Stora Södergatan 47, and we share premises with Digital Home Care.
