What does the job entail?

We are looking for someone who can work varying hours, sometimes during the day and sometimes at night.

You need to feel secure and comfortable driving a car as a large part of the work involves traveling by car, which means we drive to our clients to ensure that their buildings are locked and that no unauthorized persons are on their premises. We also sit stationary at several of our sites, which means we staff the client throughout the entire work shift. We provide clients with the service and security they expect from us. Clients trust us and entrust us with significant responsibility. Job Descriptions and Desired Qualities:

In the Supervision department, the main task is to protect property, buildings, and premises from fire, theft, and damage. This is prevented or addressed through supervision and alarm measures. Supervision can occur mobile through both indoor and outdoor rounds of, for example, warehouses, offices, garages, stairwells, and basements. You visit surveillance objects, check that no unauthorized persons are in the area, that windows and doors are closed/locked, and that alarms are activated. Supervision can also be called upon, meaning that supervision becomes necessary only after, for example, an alarm has been triggered.

Qualities as a patrol guard: you need to be calm, stable, flexible, and meticulous. You have the ability to work independently and can combine good service with a pronounced security mindset, as well as having good communication and collaboration skills. We place great trust in our employees as the work of a patrol guard involves a lot of freedom under one's own responsibility. The work requires precision and endurance as you have many contact points simultaneously and handle a lot of information that needs to be compiled clearly.

In the Stationary department, you work at our clients as an important representative of their operations. You often work in public environments such as stores, malls, and arenas, but we also have assignments that involve work in, for example, reception environments and monitoring centers. Furthermore, here is a selection of commonly occurring tasks: reception of staff and visitors, monitoring access control systems, security rounds, reporting incidents, access control, etc.

Qualities as a stationary guard: you want to work with creating safety and have a natural talent for combining service with a pronounced security mindset. You are meticulous and structured in your work approach as there may be some administrative work involved in the position. We are looking for security-conscious and service-oriented individuals with inner security and a natural drive to help. Great emphasis is placed on communication and collaboration skills, as these assignments involve a lot of contact with both clients, tenants, and visitors.

If you have the right profile for Avarn and you proceed in the process but do not already possess the required training (VU1, VU2), we will cover your training! Security training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA, the Security Industry's Professional and Work Environment Board. Participation in this is a prerequisite for employment.

Qualifications

In addition to the personal qualities we seek and describe, you need to meet the basic requirements to qualify for the position:

• at least 18 years old before starting the assignment
• high school diploma
• good Swedish in speech and writing
• driver's license B

You also need to be unpunished*, drug-free, have an orderly economy, and have good health and physical fitness to be employed at Avarn Security. It is advantageous if you also have an approved security guard and/or protection guard training.

Before employment becomes relevant, a legal compliance review will be conducted.
* All personnel at an authorized security company must be approved in a review regarding legal compliance, civic reliability, and suitability otherwise. For the approval authority's review of a person's legal compliance and civic reliability, information in the criminal record or suspicion register or that is processed by the Security Police under the law on the police's processing of personal data within the criminal data law area will be obtained.
