We at Securitas are currently looking for you who want to be the first contact when the alarm goes off. If you are a service-oriented person who thrives in a changing everyday life, then this is the job for you!

As an alarm operator, you will work in our alarm center where you receive and manage alarms from both businesses and private homes. You have a central role in the security chain and are often the first person our customers, guards, alarm installers, police, and other authorities meet. The work is carried out according to established guidelines developed together with our customers, and you ensure that their safety and property are taken care of properly.

You will, for example:

• Manage and receive alarms via our management system and phone
• Facilitate and manage contact with police, fire department, guards, or contractors for service actions
• Create security by providing quick, accurate, and clear information

The position suits you who thrive in a role where you are in contact with others and can make a real difference. In this role, you will have the chance to contribute to this work by being the first person to make contact when needed. To ensure you feel completely safe, you will receive a carefully planned internal introduction. Training takes place on-site with experienced colleagues who support you until you are ready to take on the role independently.

You will work on-site at Securitas' office at Jägersro Center. All work is done from the office.

You will work in a 5:2 schedule, which means:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday

Working hours may be scheduled during the day, evening, and night.

The 5:2 schedule also includes so-called vacation spreading. This means that your vacation is scheduled and spread throughout the year to function in a 24/7 operation. You do not choose when your vacation is, but you get more weeks of paid vacation per year than many others.

Requirements

• Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of high school
• Experience in service, telephony, customer contact

It is an advantage if you have experience from the security industry and/or a similar role.

You will use the computer as your main tool, so we prefer that you have good computer skills from before.

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periods of high work pace. We also hope that you have a great interest in technology and find it easy to understand instructions.

Since you will have a great responsibility in your role, but at the same time work very closely with both customers and colleagues, we believe you can work both independently and in a team. Taking responsibility comes naturally to you - you are simply an honest, helpful, and vigilant person who makes those around you feel safe.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
