The Community Building Administration is responsible for catering and cleaning, exploitation, urban planning and building permits, parks and green areas, streets, water, and waste. Here, over 300 employees work together to make Ystad a great municipality to live, work, and thrive in.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a traffic supervisor in Ystad Municipality, you will be part of a team that works to ensure compliance with applicable traffic regulations. The assignment is both broad and service-oriented, where you work preventively by informing the public about parking regulations and contributing to increased accessibility and traffic safety.
The work may also include other tasks within the Traffic Unit's area of responsibility, such as traffic closures and assignments as a square host, as well as administrative tasks. Working hours are scheduled and weekend work is included.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements:
- Education in public law parking supervision
- Driving license B
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of the Office package
Meritorious:
In addition to this, we are looking for someone who is service-oriented, calm, and professional in their approach. You have good communication skills, are attentive, and can handle conflicts constructively. You remain stable even in pressured situations and have the ability to work both independently and in a team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is also an advantage if you have completed the work on the road training.
You thrive in a role with a lot of contact with people and have a solution-oriented approach in your daily work.
