About Södertälje Parish and the Church of Sweden
Södertälje Parish is part of the Church of Sweden and consists of the parishes of Södertälje, Östertälje, and Enhörna, a cemetery administration, and an office.
Together, we work to be a present church in people's everyday lives – in joy and sorrow, in faith and doubt. Our mission is to meet people with care, respect, and commitment, and to contribute to a sustainable society where both people and the environment can thrive.
The parish office is an important support function for our entire operation. Here, there are several employees who work with membership services and bookings, finance/purchasing, communication, personnel issues, IT/telephony, and properties. Our mission is to provide support to members, elected representatives, parishes, and administration so that they can focus on their core activities. All employees at the office also work in various forms in a Service Bureau where we provide support to other parishes within the Church of Sweden. We now want to strengthen our office with an HR Coordinator.
We are looking for someone who wants to develop in HR and work closely with both managers and operations. As an HR Coordinator, you will have a broad and educational role where you provide support in HR and payroll. You will handle personnel-related documentation with high integrity, ensure quality in administrative processes, and be an important contact in HR matters.
As a person, you are structured, communicative, and have a genuine interest in HR and payroll issues. You enjoy administration, find it easy to collaborate, and build trust in your interactions with others. Main Responsibilities
- Payroll administration in collaboration with management and external partners.
- Support for managers with schedule changes, documentation for payroll and benefits management.
- Support HR-related processes such as employee onboarding, certificates, employment documents, and updating personnel records.
- Be a contact point for employees in simpler personnel matters.
- Participate in the development of HR processes and administrative routines.
- Participate in the work with occupational health and personnel routines being created, updated, and followed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent post-secondary education/vocational training
- Several years of experience in HR work, including working in HR systems and managing employee processes.
- Technically proficient with good knowledge of Microsoft 365, HR, and payroll systems
- High integrity, accuracy, and responsibility
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- Good understanding of data protection regulations and how they apply in the field
Meritorious
- Experience working in the Church of Sweden or other politically governed or non-profit organizations
- Additional language skills are an advantage

- The position is a permanent employment with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may apply.
