About the Role
Do you want a meaningful job where you can contribute to making a real difference for both society and the energy transition? With us, you are a significant part of our vital mission and get to work on exciting projects, cutting-edge technology, and colleagues who value each other.
Vattenfall Eldistribution operates a critical infrastructure that distributes over half of all electricity produced in Sweden. Our mission is to maintain, operate, and, when necessary, expand a safe, reliable, and efficient electricity network. Our operations and a secure electricity supply are crucial for society to function and develop.
Our mission is truly important, become a part of Vattenfall Eldistribution!
At the center of this development is the group Asset Performance, which currently consists of 16 dedicated employees. The group plays a key role in monitoring the status and risk exposure of our facilities in the electricity network. Through analyses and investigations, we identify deviations from expected delivery capacity and performance, thereby contributing to a more robust and sustainable electricity network. We are now looking for a new colleague to join the team!
As an Asset Analyst, you will play a key role where you combine strategy, technology, and analysis to shape the future of asset management. You will take a holistic approach to our facilities and analyze them from economic, technical, and risk-based perspectives – always with the goal of making long-term sustainable and smart decisions.
In your role, you will map the status and risks in a comprehensive asset portfolio and provide clear recommendations on how these should be developed and managed over time. You will also be a driving force in developing new methods for status monitoring and actively participate in decisions regarding maintenance, replacement, and reinvestments to optimize both operation and lifespan.
We are looking for someone who wants to drive change, appreciates working analytically, and wants to grow together with a knowledgeable and helpful team. With us, you will have the chance to influence the future electricity network and contribute to a company where innovation, sustainability, and societal benefit are a given.

To succeed in this role, you need to have:
- An engineering degree with a focus on electrical power, energy technology, or similar, or equivalent work experience in distribution networks 0.4–20 kV.
- Work experience in electricity distribution or experience with maintenance issues/management within distribution networks 0.4–20 kV.
- Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement, as well as good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you also have:
- Knowledge of Netbas or similar.
- Knowledge of SAP PM.
- Completed ESA training.
We place great importance on your personal qualities and are looking for someone with strong analytical skills who is motivated by solving complex technical and economic issues. It would be beneficial if you also enjoy presenting results from analyses and investigations in a pedagogical manner. You need to like and have an easy time collaborating with others, as you will work closely with various stakeholders.
