About the Assignment

The role of Supply Chain Specialist involves supporting the Supply Chain organization in projects related to new product launches, design changes, and changes in production processes. You will be a key person in the project flow and responsible for ensuring correct Master Data management, coordinating activities, and ensuring projects are executed according to plan.

The position is a consulting assignment starting in mid-March and is expected to last for nine months. You will be employed by Adecco Sweden and primarily work on-site in Uppsala.

Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will:

  • Prepare and manage Change Requests for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Maintain an overview of open project activities, deadlines, and actions.
  • Follow up on implementation plans and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timelines are met, as well as escalate any deviations to the Supply Chain Planning Manager.
  • Manage Master Data setup and update MRP parameters for new and existing material codes (SKUs) for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
  • Set up and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for intermediates and finished products.
  • Prepare Change Control documentation and ensure correct information flow when introducing new items or parts.
  • Follow up on launch activities and ensure readiness for delivery within the planning team.
  • Manage phase-out processes and establish disposition reports for materials to be phased out.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, production planners, and material planners to understand project priorities and timelines.
  • Participate in both local and global project meetings as well as launch meetings.
  • Work with functions such as Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Quality to drive projects and ensure progress.
  • Support the Supply Chain team with material planning and purchasing as needed.
  • Work according to local and global SOPs.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent technical education.
  • 2–5 years of experience in material planning, production planning, or a similar role, preferably from the medical technology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain and project work.
  • Experience with Master Data management, MRP parameters, and BOM structuring is highly desirable.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and experience working with project visualization.
  • The ability to work in a structured, accurate, and independent manner, as well as prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • Good collaboration skills and a service-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
