Job Description

We are now looking for a supply chain specialist for our client!

The Supply Chain department is responsible for delivery network planning, production planning, raw material planning/purchasing, and distribution activities. The role of Supply Chain Specialist, project support will assist the Supply Chain department in managing ongoing and upcoming projects that include new product launches, product design changes, and production process changes.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and manages change requests for ongoing and upcoming projects.

• Oversees all open actions and due dates for ongoing projects.

• Manages project implementation timelines and follows up with stakeholders to meet due dates, escalating to the Supply Chain Planning Manager in case of deviations.

• Manages the establishment of master data and the setting of MRP planning parameters for new and existing material codes (SKU) for raw materials, intermediate, and finished products.

• Manages the creation and maintenance of bill of materials for intermediate and finished product SKUs.

• Prepares necessary change control documents and documents new SKUs or parts.

• Tracks the progress of project launch activities for the planning department.

• Manages the phase-out process for obsolete materials.

• Prepares disposal reports for obsolete materials.

• Collaborates closely with project managers and production/material planners to have a full understanding of project timelines and priorities.

• Participates in weekly launch readiness meetings with global project managers.

• Attends weekly project meetings with local or global project managers.

• Collaborates and follows up with other functions such as purchasing, production, engineering, and quality to ensure the progress of project activities.

• Supports the Supply Chain department with material planning/purchasing.

• Follows local and global standard operating procedures (SOP).

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 2-5 years of work experience in material planning or production planning, preferably within the medical/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with ERP (SAP).
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, material planning, or production planning.
  • Structured, detail-oriented, self-motivated, service-minded, team player, able to work independently.
  • • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize, and have a sense of urgency.
  • Understanding of holistic management within the supply chain.
  • • Experience in project management.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and project management visualization tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP).
  • Fluent in Swedish and English in both oral and written communication.
