ValueOne is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer for one of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Uppsala. The client has a vacancy in the organization and the need for this competence is ongoing. The role is initially filled through employment with ValueOne with a clear ambition for over-recruitment.

About the role
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will proactively work with quality management and improvement efforts towards suppliers of direct materials and components within categories such as electronics, castings, mechanics, and hydraulics. The role plays an important function in ensuring that the right quality is achieved and that final inspections are minimized. You are responsible for ensuring that quality assurance occurs throughout the chain, from the supplier's processes to incoming inspections and further into production.

• Assess, qualify, and develop suppliers to ensure long-term quality and delivery capability.
• Ensure that suppliers meet applicable standards, customer requirements, and relevant certifications.
• Drive deviation management, follow up root cause analyses, and ensure that corrective actions are implemented and followed up.
• Develop, implement, and follow up control plans and procedures for incoming inspections.
• Monitor quality key figures, identify trends, and initiate improvement work based on data and analysis.
• Conduct supplier audits and ensure that action plans are developed and implemented.

Experience and competence
To succeed in this role, you have at least three years of experience working as a Supplier Quality Engineer or equivalent in electronics and/or mechanical materials from the manufacturing industry. You are confident in conducting supplier audits independently and communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. It is advantageous if you have a post-secondary technical education and have worked with commercial purchasing. Good system skills, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and basic electronics knowledge are also desirable.

As a person, you are curious and meticulous, have a strong safety mindset, and work systematically. You are solution-oriented and have an easy time collaborating with others.
