At ELAK AB, we have experienced strong growth in recent years and are now expanding our design department with an additional team member. We have a stable order intake and framework agreements with, among others, Uppsala Municipality and Skolfastigheter. Are you currently working as an electrician and want to develop in construction and design? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

About the position

As a junior electrical designer, you will receive a solid introduction and continuous training. You will work closely with your five colleagues in the design department and also have constant contact with production managers, area managers, and the CEO. You will primarily work with drawing work in 2D and 3D tools for electrical design. We use tools such as MagiCAD. You will also work on project follow-ups and conduct customer visits.

Initially, you will be assigned simpler tasks, and then the complexity will increase as you become comfortable in the role. We work in several different areas, and there is great variation among our projects in both character and size within both service and contracting. We work with everything from residential buildings, schools, and offices to industrial properties.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is curious about electrical design and wants to develop in the field. You have several years of experience as an electrician, and if you have relevant post-secondary education, we see it as a plus but not a requirement. Of course, you are an experienced system user. If you have experience with MagiCAD or another CAD system and/or the Office suite, we consider it an advantage. You communicate fluently in Swedish.

As a person, you are responsible and analytical. You are structured in your work and are used to working both in teams and independently. It is important that you are engaged in your work and always aim to deliver high quality. You are proactive and have the desire and curiosity to develop and grow.

The position is full-time with a permanent contract based in Uppsala.
