Product & Embedded Systems Engineer
Are you a technically driven engineer who does not settle for just going with the flow, but wants to take responsibility and drive development projects forward? At Radonova, you will play a key role where you combine hardware-near programming, product responsibility, and project management. In their smaller development team, you will work closely with both technology and business, take ownership of the instruments, and drive improvements all the way from identified needs to finished solutions, with a real impact on products used worldwide. The role offers great career opportunities as you help lay the foundation for Radonova's growth journey in radon instruments. We look forward to your application!
ABOUT THE POSITION
Radonova started in 1986 as a small research group of four people, in the shadow of the Chernobyl disaster. Today, the company is a global leader in radon measurement, with customers in over 80 countries and offices around the world. From high-tech production and advanced analysis to research, support, and digital solutions, Radonova offers radon measurement for everything from homes and workplaces to larger facilities and land areas, thus making a concrete difference for people's health worldwide.
As a Product & Embedded Systems Engineer, you will be a central part of Radonova's technical development and have overall responsibility for the company's instruments. You will work in a smaller, cross-functional development team where you combine hardware-near programming, electronics understanding, and product development. The role involves both technical depth and a clear product perspective, where you will over time become the one who truly understands the instruments, how they are built, how they are used, and how they can be improved.
You will work hands-on with the further development of existing instruments, from troubleshooting and analysis to implementation of improvements in both hardware and firmware. At the same time, you will drive projects related to new products, where you contribute technical expertise to the development work. The role is long-term and suits you who want to take ownership, drive initiatives, and see your ideas become reality in finished products.
The work is done in close collaboration with colleagues in development, production, and sales, where you act as a technical bridge between different parts of the organization. You will also have contact with external consultants and, if necessary, customers, for example, to explain technical solutions or analyze emerging problems. The introduction will take place together with experienced colleagues and is structured for you to gradually familiarize yourself with Radonova's instruments, technology, and working methods, with the goal of eventually becoming one of the company's technical experts in the field.
This is a direct recruitment, which means that you will be employed directly by Radonova. Academic Work is responsible for the entire recruitment process and is there to support you from application to employment.
