Academic Resource is now seeking a Senior Project Manager for a Life Science company in Uppsala.

The position is a long-term consulting assignment for 1 year initially with the possibility of extension.

The work is full-time, on-site. Location in Uppsala.

Start immediately.

Department Description:

The Project Office for investment projects is responsible for driving Site Uppsala's larger investment projects.

Typical projects include:

• Implementing manufacturing equipment for new products

• Replacing old equipment and production lines

• Installing new technology or new processes to meet new environmental and workplace requirements.

Projects typically span several years.

The department consists of project managers, project engineers, and additional support functions, such as procurement support and project controllers.

Role/Job Description:

Senior project manager for large investment projects.

Responsible for overall project delivery including finance (budget, forecast, and outcome), team, reporting, planning, procurement, FAT/SAT, commissioning, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

• Work experience as a Senior Project Manager.

• Fluent in Swedish and English.

• Windows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Senior Project Manager within Life Science in process installations (tanks, pipes, control systems), property modifications.

• Certified project manager.
