Part-time HR Position at ISS
ISS is one of the world's largest service companies, and we are soon celebrating 80 years in Sweden! With over 6500 employees across the country, from north to south, we deliver services that make a difference. We offer our clients everything from cleaning to technical services, food and workplace services. We create workplaces where people thrive, companies grow, and sustainability is a given – socially, environmentally, and economically. Our employees are the heart of what we do – and crucial for our clients to feel safe, seen – and for their workplaces to flourish.
Are you an ambitious HR student looking for a part-time job in HR? Now there is an opportunity to gain valuable experience from operational HR work. We are looking for a driven colleague to strengthen our HR service team and be involved in the daily work!
About the Role
The role provides insight into large parts of HR work, focusing on ongoing administration, maintenance in HR systems, and basic HR support. We offer you a challenging and varied role in an organization where no day is the same. A prerequisite for thriving in this role is that you are service-oriented and see HR as a central and natural part of the company's business.
The People & Culture department consists of a total of 35 employees. Together with your team, you will be the first contact for People & Culture with our 350 managers and thus the department's face to the outside. You will be an important part of the ISS HR Service team and work alongside five HR coordinators. We strive to make the manager's everyday life as simple as possible through clear communication, broad competence in personnel issues, and a service-oriented mindset. Within the team, we support each other daily and always do what is necessary for both the business and the team's best.
In this role, you will also work closely with the department's HR specialists, HR Business Partners, and other support functions.
Further Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing employment contracts
- Statistical follow-up/compilation of HR-related data within the organization
- Ongoing administration and maintenance in HR systems
- Support to managers primarily via case management systems and phone
- Working on processes and projects outside of HR support as needed
The position is a part-time employment where working hours may vary.
You will be based at our headquarters in Marievik, Liljeholmen, and report to the head of HR Service. We see the office as our primary workplace, but there is an opportunity to work remotely if needed.
Who Are We Looking For?
You are a genuine team player who is structured, meticulous, solution-oriented, pedagogical, and unpretentious. You take ownership of the work you perform and can view issues from multiple perspectives. We do not expect you to have all the answers that come to our support, but you have the ability to use our fantastic department to ensure that the manager receives the right support and advice.
Furthermore, we are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in a service-related profession, preferably within a support function
- Good skills in spoken and written Swedish and English
- High IT maturity and good knowledge of the Office suite, with good Excel skills being an advantage
- Ongoing university or vocational education or equivalent in HR/PA, with at least one year of completed education.
We Offer
You will work closely with competent colleagues from whom you will gain a lot, as we care about helping and developing each other.
We highly value diversity and inclusion. At ISS, all people are equally valuable and have the same rights and opportunities. Our employees reflect the diversity of society, which is both a competitive advantage and an asset in our long-term sustainable work. Our inclusive corporate culture strengthens our employees, makes us more creative and productive, and creates a more attractive workplace.
ISS values, which are fundamental to how we work, are quality, responsibility, honesty, entrepreneurship, and community. Therefore, it is important that you feel that you represent a working method and an approach that aligns with these.
Your Application
We warmly welcome you to submit your application by January 17. We will work with a rolling selection of applications and hold phone interviews with candidates. Questions about the position can be answered by the head of HR Service, Oskar Wallén, [email protected].
