Vision is a modern and growing trade union in constant change, and we continue to increase our union strength. Vision's members lead, develop, and administer welfare and work in municipalities, regions, private companies, or the church. Our 218,000 members are spread across the country and within thousands of different professions, forming a valuable network together. We are a feminist organization, politically independent, and part of TCO.
We are looking for two ombudsmen for Vision's center in Stockholm. Vision is increasing its union strength – and now we are looking for two ombudsmen for our regional office (center) in Stockholm. With us, you will become a key person in supporting Vision's elected representatives. Through strong, knowledgeable, secure, and inspiring union leaders in the workplaces, the union strength grows, and Vision's members get more out of their working lives.
About the role:
As an ombudsman, you will work closely with our elected representatives in the Stockholm area. The role primarily involves coaching elected representatives, but also representing members. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues - locally and nationally. You are an important part of Vision increasing its union strength in our workplaces.
Your tasks:
- Build relationships with and strengthen Vision's elected representatives. You have a coaching approach where the development of elected representatives is the focus. You are responsible, together with a team, for the development of several clubs/sections.
- Strengthen members' voices, participation, and influence through negotiations, qualified advice, and guidance in complex labor law and occupational safety law issues.
- Develop the organization by planning and driving activities and issues that strengthen Vision as a trade union and increase our ability to influence, improve, and secure a sustainable working life for our members.
- Contribute your expertise in projects and focus areas together with engaged colleagues.
We are looking for you who:
- Have relevant post-secondary education, for example in labor law or personnel and labor issues.
- Are a generalist and have documented experience in negotiation, coaching, union development work, and association experience.
- Find it easy to collaborate and create trusting relationships, are attentive, and see the value in different perspectives. You take initiative and enjoy working independently as well as in teams. You have good judgment and can make wise decisions even in complex situations.
- Have experience with digital tools and Microsoft 365.
The positions are permanent employment with a start date according to agreement and are located in newly renovated premises at Vision's head office in Stockholm.
We offer a workplace where you can be yourself, with a strong focus on development, work environment, flexibility, and good opportunities for recovery. Vision is a values-driven organization, and you need to stand behind the fundamental values.
Welcome with your application and CV! The deadline for applications is February 12, 2026. Start date according to agreement.
