About the job
As a lawyer in the Consumer Credit unit, within the Banking Law department, you will be responsible for drafting your own decisions and documents and ensuring the quality of others. You will be responsible for regulatory projects/regulatory work and provide legal support in the work with permits, regulation, and supervision, which includes conducting legal investigations and representing in court.
The work involves close collaboration with colleagues within the authority and also contact with industry representatives, the Government Offices, and EU authorities.
Your education and experience
We are looking for someone who:
- holds a law degree (jur.kand. or equivalent)
- has substantial relevant experience from qualified legal work in courts, the Government Offices, or another relevant authority
- expresses themselves well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
It is an advantage if you:
- are an assessor from a court of appeal or administrative court
- have experience in legislative work
- have knowledge of the regulations governing financial companies
- are familiar with the financial system and companies under FI's supervision.
