Operational Employer Branding Specialist
Do you want to combine creativity and communication to create clarity, understanding, and a common thread? The IT department of the Swedish Police Authority is looking for someone to elevate our employee journey through internal communication.
You will be placed in the IT department's office, where you will be part of a team of about 15 colleagues working on the entire employee journey from employer branding and recruitment to competence development and initiatives to retain employees within the IT department. This also places high demands on a common thread in all our communication. Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas and development in all parts of the employee journey, as we are now entering an exciting phase with a strong focus on employee development and cultural issues.
The IT department currently consists of about 1,300 employees responsible for all IT used by the authority's approximately 41,000 employees. You will be located in offices centrally in Kungsholmen, Stockholm, and there is an opportunity to work from home up to two days a week. RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role of operational employer branding specialist, you will play a key role in the work of developing and retaining our employees. You will work operationally to ensure a clear common thread in all our communication and activities aimed at developing our employer brand. You will build relationships and collaborate broadly within the department and the Swedish Police Authority as a whole.
Examples of tasks:
- Plan and produce internal communication for multiple channels
- Support managers in internal communication planning
- Ensure that messages are clear, target group adapted, and anchored
- Drive and develop internal campaigns
- Follow up and analyze the effects of internal communication
- Contribute to the employer branding work through ideas and development in all parts of the employee journey
QUALIFICATIONS
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- Relevant post-secondary education in communication, PR, journalism, or equivalent. Alternatively, you have equivalent acquired experience that the Swedish Police Authority can assess as comparable and relevant
- Several years of experience in internal communication or corporate communication
- Experience in structuring information and creating engaging content
- Experience in target group adapted production of text and presentation materials
- Experience in project management or assignment management within communication in the near past
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Meritorious
The following competencies are also meritorious; you do not need to have expertise in everything, as you will have the opportunity to develop with us on-site:
- Experience working with film recording and editing
- Experience planning and driving internal events
- Experience planning, implementing, and analyzing communication efforts
- Experience in an agile working method
- Experience collaborating with an IT organization/IT target group
