The majority of our members work in retail/wholesale, the beauty industry, and within popular movements. About the position

You will be Handels' voice outward and the first contact with our members. You will assist members with all questions regarding their membership. For example, questions about membership fees, joining, and leaving the union.

Your main responsibilities are:

- Phone contact with members and prospective members

- Support our members in membership issues

- Recruit new members and work to retain existing members

You are a service-oriented team player who enjoys finding solutions and working towards common goals. With the phone as your primary working tool, you excel at creating a trustworthy and pleasant impression from the very first moment.

To be successful in this role, it is important that you are communicative and really good at understanding and conveying information. You are skilled with language and know that the words you use make a difference in how you are perceived.

You have a strong sense of justice and believe that good employment conditions are important to fight for. We believe that employees who are passionate about the trade union movement will thrive and grow with us. Therefore, we expect you to have an interest in and knowledge of the trade union movement and share the values of the labor movement.

If you currently or previously have held a union position, it is a significant plus.

As an employee in Handels Member Service, you will be part of a large, warm team located in open, fresh offices in central Stockholm. We are now looking for a full-time employee with a permanent position, start date according to agreement. A probationary period may apply.

Starting salary: 27,000 SEK.
