Preschool Substitute in Lidingö Municipality

Lidingö Municipality has 19 municipal preschools. They differ in pedagogical orientation, composition of children and staff groups, the design of the premises, and work plans. What unites them is the mission to lay the foundation for lifelong learning, based on the Education Act and the preschool curriculum.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a preschool substitute in one of our preschools, you will work together with and under the guidance of regular educators. You will participate in the activities/teaching conducted during your time at the preschool and be engaged in the children's play and learning, contributing to a rich and meaningful everyday life for all children.

As a substitute, you are expected to be flexible and able to step in where needed with varying tasks and sometimes at short notice. You will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning through children's influence, participation, and desire to learn.

QUALIFICATIONS

Since you may be placed in different preschools during your service and we are constantly developing, it is required that you are flexible and can easily adapt to different situations. Previous experience working with children and/or in preschool is an advantage for the position. The work requires a good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.

As a preschool substitute in our preschools, you are expected to have a good attitude and approach towards children and colleagues. You are relationship-building and focus on the children and their various needs. You should have a playful mindset to create playful situations with the children and inspire with new ideas. The municipality applies individual salary setting. Start date according to agreement.
