Personal Assistant Wanted

I am a 43-year-old man who will soon be moving to Stockholm and will be living near Gullmarsplan. I have a great interest in carpentry, boats, cycling, and swimming, and I also enjoy outings – for example, a trip to Gröna Lund.

I have cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and a cognitive impairment. For my daily life to function well, I need a clear, calm, and pedagogical structure. My daily condition can vary and may be affected by epilepsy; during these times, I need an adjusted pace as well as extra calm and security.

The work is varied and includes both more physically active moments and calmer activities. It is important that you understand clarifying pedagogy and feel secure in handling epilepsy. My assistance involves varied working hours, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Who am I looking for?

I am looking for someone who:

• has a genuine interest in working with people
• is responsible, secure, and stable
• can work independently based on routines and instructions
• also has a good ability to collaborate with other assistants and family members

Requirements and Qualifications

• You are welcome to be a man.
• It is an advantage if you have worked as a personal assistant or in a similar role.
• I prefer that you do not smoke.
• A driver's license is a plus.
• You need to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• It is an advantage if you can assist with light cooking.

Introduction and Support

You will receive continuous training and supervision. The aim is to create security for both you as a personal assistant and for me.

Employment Conditions

• Position: Hourly employment with fixed shifts each week. In addition, I need substitutes who can step in during the absence or vacation of regular assistants.
• Start date: by agreement
