Your New Job

Bergsätra Group Home has 10 residents divided into two departments. At the group home, we work during the day, evening, and awake night to provide support, service, and security to our residents. The workgroup at the group home is stable, engaged, and development-oriented, working closely together and having good camaraderie.

As night staff, you will work alongside a colleague. You will work both independently and together with the residents at night. This may involve carrying out evening and morning routines and providing support if any resident needs it during the night.

The work involves care, cleaning, and laundry during the night. It also includes supporting residents and strengthening their self-esteem, enabling a health-promoting life by motivating good sleep routines. You are the one who helps residents feel secure during the night and assists them in starting their day in the best way together with the morning staff.

The working hours are scheduled at night (approx. 20:45-07:15) on weekdays and weekends.

Your Profile

You have completed a secondary education in the care and nursing program, nursing assistant training with a focus on intellectual disabilities (ID), support pedagogy training, or other education deemed equivalent.

Experience in pedagogical work with ID and autism is an advantage.

You are a secure and stable person with a great interest in working with people. You are proactive and can work both independently and as part of a team. You are also flexible, stress-resistant, responsible, have a good attitude, and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
