Summer Job in LSS in Nacka Municipality

Your Assignment

Daily activities are aimed at adults with disabilities covered by LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). Our goal is to offer meaningful and developing employment based on each participant's individual needs and abilities.

The work is structured and pedagogical and takes place both individually and in groups. The activities offer opportunities in areas such as nature and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, music, and physical training.

As a summer substitute, you will support participants based on each individual's needs. The work may involve assistance in social activities, during meals, and in hygiene routines, as well as the use of communication support, such as alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) and digital aids.

Nacka Municipality has four daily activities. You will primarily be placed in one of them but are expected to be flexible and work in other activities as needed.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.

Your Experience

Requirements:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• You have good physical ability
• You have a genuine interest and commitment to working with people

Meritorious:

• Relevant education or previous experience in LSS or similar activities

As a substitute, you will be employed by the Competence Supply Unit within Nacka Municipality, which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of staffing care personnel during short-term absences and monthly substitutes. As a summer substitute, you will work in one or more of our activities depending on how much you want to work this summer. We also offer you the opportunity to work as an hourly substitute both before and after your summer substitute position.

To create continuity for our clients, you should be able to work for a longer continuous period from June to September. You are also expected to attend an introduction and work occasional shifts during the spring.
