Your Mission

Nacka municipality has twelve group and service housing facilities for adults according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). Here, clients live in their own apartments with access to common areas that enable social interaction.

As a summer temporary worker, you will provide support and service to our clients in their daily lives. The work is based on the individual’s needs, desires, and conditions, focusing on creating security, personal development, and good living conditions. You respect each client’s self-determination and contribute to a meaningful existence.

The role includes daily documentation and close collaboration with colleagues and relatives.

Job Duties

The work is varied and will include support in:

• personal care, hygiene, and medication management
• shopping and cooking
• planning daily and weekly activities
• leisure activities

Introduction always takes place at the respective facility, and you have the opportunity to choose your employment level. There is also the possibility to work as a substitute both before and after the summer.

We offer the opportunity to work:

• day, evening, and weekend
• day, evening, weekend, and sleeping on-call
• only awake night

Your Experience

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• be at least 18 years old
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• have good physical ability
• have a genuine commitment to working with people

It is an advantage if you have relevant education and/or previous experience in the field.

As a temporary worker, you will be employed by the Competence Supply Unit, which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of recruitment and staffing within care and support. During the summer, you can work in one or more of our facilities, depending on your wishes and our needs.

To create continuity for our clients, you need to be able to work for a longer continuous period during June–September. You are also expected to attend an introduction and work occasional shifts as a substitute during the spring.
