At Vilhelmina Learning Center, we work for the region's skills supply in several industries. The vocational driver education for bus drivers is an important part of adult education, and we have trained over 500 bus drivers in the past 25 years. The Learning Center has a close collaboration with many bus companies in northern Sweden to ensure that the education meets the labor market's needs. The Learning Center also has a vocational driver education in Goods Transport with trailers and several other own programs at the upper secondary level and within higher vocational education. The Learning Center is led by an adult education manager.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and conduct instruction in driving, traffic safety, laws, and industry routines.
• Assess and follow up on participants' development and assign grades.
• Create a safe and clear learning environment that prepares students for working life.
• Coordinate and follow up on APL (workplace-based learning) in close collaboration with companies and supervisors.
• Stay updated on industry requirements, such as YKB and ADR.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop the education and ensure high quality.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Educated and licensed vocational teacher with experience as a driver.
• D-license.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills.

Meritorious:

• Driving examiner
• Good company knowledge for work with APL.

Conditions

Employment type: Permanent position with a probationary period
