The workplace
Artediskolan F-3 is a school with 215 students in central Nordmaling. Our guiding principles are respect, fairness, empathy, and knowledge. Together with trained colleagues and a solid commitment to safety and well-being, we contribute to creating the best conditions for students' learning.
Artediskolan F-3's after-school care currently has four departments with 160 children. We are looking for two after-school teachers; one for the Smultronet department (grade 1) and one for the Hjortronet department (grade 2) with about 40 enrolled children per department.
The after-school care is located close to nature with excellent opportunities to conduct after-school pedagogy in beautiful outdoor environments.

The role and responsibilities
In your role in the position at the central location, you will, in collaboration with other staff, be responsible for and develop the pedagogical learning at our after-school care. You will be responsible for leading the teaching in your department. Therefore, we want you to be a driving leader and an inspiring team player who can see how small changes can lead to the development of teaching in after-school care. We have suitable facilities in the school outside and inside classrooms, as well as access to a swimming pool, sports hall, and beautiful forest areas.
Planning time for your assignment will be scheduled during school hours. Depending on your skills and qualifications, we will shape the position that best fits your profile during the school day. We are committed to providing you with good conditions to develop the after-school care's activities. Through systematic quality work, the units within Artediskolan F-3 create good conditions for all our children and young people to develop maximally in their learning.

- Plan and lead activities that inspire and engage students.
- Be responsible for the daily operations at after-school care.
- Collaborate with colleagues and guardians to create a positive environment for children's development.
Your profile
To be considered for the position, you must be a licensed teacher for after-school care.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in students' development and learning, who is responsive to their individual needs. You are a clear leader with good foresight and structure and have good communication with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are driven to develop the activities to achieve high quality for the students and preferably have experience in this. You want to take responsibility and are self-sufficient in your work, flexible, and have an interest in developing the team's collaborative work.
We value employees who see opportunities and solutions and enjoy being involved in influencing. Good collaboration skills are a fundamental requirement.

Nordmaling has an excellent location, right by the coast, between Umeå and Örnsköldsvik with E4 and Botniabanan nearby. Arenas, shopping centers, and cultural houses can be found in Örnsköldsvik to the south and Umeå to the north, both less than 30 minutes away by Botniabanan. Work as emergency service personnel on standby
