We are currently seeking a Student Assistant with a fixed-term employment contract for the educational activities at Blattnicksele School for the academic year 26/27, subject to necessary decisions being made.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be a support during the student's school day and participate in teaching together with teachers. This means being a support for the student during breaks, in changing rooms, and on excursions, and helping the student practice daily tasks. We expect the applicant to have experience working with students in need of special support. Your task is to create good conditions for the student's development and learning, as well as provide security and structure in everyday life. You create the best opportunities for the student, parents, and colleagues to feel comfortable and safe. The position is combined with work in the after-school center, primarily before and after school hours.

Your Qualities:

As a person, you are calm and stable in your approach, responsive to individuals' different needs and conditions, and can adapt accordingly, as well as create creative learning environments. You have a positive attitude, good teamwork skills, and spread joy at work. You are responsible, structure, and organize daily work so that governing documents are followed. Develop good sustainable relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and other school staff. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability, such as relationship building and approach in meeting the student.

Competence/Qualifications - Requirements:

Upper secondary education. We consider it an asset if you have a student assistant education. Experience with similar tasks is also considered an asset. Sami language skills are an asset.

Duration/Working Hours:

Fixed-term employment 100%.

Start date: 2026-08-20, or by agreement until 2026-12-31, with a good chance of extension during the spring term.

Salary: According to agreement. The municipality applies individual salary setting.
