Åsele Central School is looking for an engaged PE/Science teacher for grades 7-9.

Responsibilities

You will teach physical education and health in several groups from grades 1-9 and biology or physics in grades 7-9. You will belong to the 7-9 work team. You will also be a mentor for a group of high school students and one of the class teachers in grade 8.

Qualifications

Working with learning here means collaborating with others. You should have the ability to work in a team and be able to translate the school's vision into everyday work. We are looking for a licensed teacher in physical education and health as well as biology or physics. You are engaged and willing to think outside the box with the student's best interests in mind.

Scope

A 100% fixed-term employment for the school year 2026-2027, pending necessary decisions. Start date 2026-08-12 or by agreement. A probationary period will apply.
