We are looking for a teacher in Spanish at Vindelälvsskolan in Sorsele municipality.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Spanish teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to spark language joy and curiosity among students in grades 6–9. You will be an important part of Vindelälvsskolan's dedicated teaching team, where collaboration across subject boundaries is a natural part of everyday life and where the principal's pedagogical leadership actively encourages joint development and creative thinking.

The position may also include mentorship and teaching during extra study time. There is also the possibility to increase the position with other assignments in the municipality; see other available teaching positions.

In your classroom, students' development is at the center. You create participation, work results-oriented together with the students, and give them the opportunity to succeed and demonstrate their knowledge in various ways. You thrive with subject-integrated working methods and are confident in both the curriculum and assessment.

You meet students with different backgrounds and use a formative approach to support them where they are in their development. With your engagement, clarity, and ability to create a positive learning environment, you contribute to each student growing – both linguistically and as an individual.

Furthermore, we see that you are a responsible, clear, and structured teacher in teaching situations, as well as having a positive and solution-focused approach. Competence/Qualifications - Requirements:

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with the ability to teach Spanish up to grade 9. You have experience and are skilled at documenting, analyzing, and working systematically.

You are well-grounded in the school's governing documents.

Meritorious qualifications include having relevant work experience with several years of teaching experience in primary school. It is also meritorious if you are trained to mentor teacher students, as well as having training in NPF.

Duration/Working Hours:

Permanent. Part-time. Start date 2026-08-12 if necessary decisions are made.

Salary: According to agreement. The municipality applies individual salary setting.
