At Fjällripan pedagogical care, we are a part of the village – we have lunch with the elderly, watch the seasons change through large windows, and take the children out into the even larger nature that is just around the corner.

We are now looking for a qualified preschool teacher for a temporary position during the period 2026-07-28 - 2027-06-11 with a full-time position of 100%.

Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you have the main responsibility for the assignment being carried out. You will lead and develop the pedagogical work in the department based on the preschool's governing documents. You are responsible for creating a positive and development-promoting environment for each child as well as for the entire group. You will also be involved in arranging meetings with parents both individually and in large groups, and together with your colleagues develop our operations.

Working as a preschool teacher means unique – and significant – opportunities to influence and contribute to children's development. As a preschool teacher, you contribute to creating a positive and developing environment, with a good balance of care and learning, for each child and for the entire group of children. Our well-organized daily structure, which is based on children's participation and influence, forms the foundation of our pedagogical work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a degree as a preschool teacher or teacher for younger ages. You focus on the child and are cheerful, patient, positive, flexible, engaged, and see possibilities.

You have knowledge and an idea of how you, together with your colleagues, will realize the goals and values of the curriculum. You also have knowledge of how to make visible and further develop children's learning processes with the help of pedagogical documentation. Personal suitability is of great importance.

Particularly meritorious is if you have experience with consciously language-developing methods. Everyone is welcome to apply, but we are particularly looking for you who have a few years of experience in the profession and have a conscious approach to working with various adaptations for both groups and individuals.
