Resource Teacher at Dragonskolan

The Gymnasium and Adult Education Committee is responsible for the municipality's commitments under school legislation for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, municipal adult education, special education for adults, and Swedish language instruction for immigrants. The committee is also responsible for work-oriented rehabilitation and the municipal refugee reception. -1 position, full-time, special fixed-term employment. Starting as soon as possible, by agreement, until 2026-06-19.

Your Responsibilities

As a resource teacher, you work closely with teachers, other educators, and the student health team to create meaningful and educational days for our students. At Dragonskolan, you are a central part of the work to build a safe environment where every student is given the opportunity to develop based on their conditions.

Together with the teacher, you plan and structure the school day using adapted pedagogy that provides students with predictability and security. You are present as support in teaching and during breaks, contributing to motivating and stimulating students so that they can develop their abilities and reach their goals.

An important part of the role is also to participate in documenting students' development and interventions.

About You

We are looking for someone who has completed upper secondary education with a focus on working with children and students in need of special support, such as a teaching assistant, childcare worker, or social pedagogue. It is advantageous if you also have education or experience in restaurant/kitchen, as the student is enrolled in the RL program. Experience working with youth in the NPF area is seen as an asset.

As a person, you are responsible, engaged, and flexible. You have a positive belief in young people's ability to develop and learn. You are attentive, but also clear and confident in standing by decisions made.

In accordance with the law on suitability checks, a criminal record extract from the police must be presented upon employment.
