Description

Yrkesgymnasiet is looking for an inspiring Vocational Teacher for the Health and Social Care program to strengthen our team and offer our students a challenging and inspiring education.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in the Health and Social Care program according to the curriculum and subject plans with a focus on vocational relevance and student-active working methods.

• Assess and document students' development and provide clear feedback and support for progression.

• Collaborate with colleagues and labor market contacts to create and maintain relevant work placements.

• Participate in systematic quality work and contribute to the development of pedagogical methods and the school's core values work.

Qualifications and Characteristics

• Relevant professional background in health and social care is required.

• A vocational teacher degree in the field is a requirement for permanent employment.

• Experience in teaching/mentoring is an advantage.

• Good ability to plan, structure, and document teaching as well as adapt teaching to students' needs.

• Good ability to build trusting relationships.
