Description

Yrkesgymnasiet is looking for an inspiring Vocational Teacher for the Hairdressing Program to strengthen our team and offer our students a challenging and inspiring education.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in the Hairdressing Program according to the curriculum and subject plans with a focus on professional relevance and student-active methods.

• Assess and document students' development and provide clear feedback and support for progression.

• Collaborate with colleagues and labor market contacts to create and maintain relevant internship placements.

• Participate in systematic quality work and contribute to the development of pedagogical methods and the school's core values work.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Relevant professional background as a hairdresser is required.

• A vocational teacher's degree in the field is a requirement for permanent employment.

• Experience in teaching/mentoring is an advantage.

• Good ability to plan, structure, and document teaching as well as to adapt teaching to students' needs.

• Good ability to build trusting relationships.
